Our staff is a well-coordinated team with a diverse background.

Gennie – Dental Hygienist

Gennie joined our team in 2002 as a dental assistant. She attended Boston University to become x-ray certified. She decided to further her education in the dental field. Gennie graduated from Community College of Rhode Island and became a dental hygienist June of 2009.

Luann – Dental Hygienist

Luann has been a Registered Dental Hygienist since 1986. She received her education at the Ohio State University where she received a Bachelor of Science in Health and Science Education and an Associated Degree in Dental Hygiene. She is also an adjunct professor at Quinsigamond Community College in the division of dental hygiene and has a permit for local anesthesia administration. Luann moved from Ohio in 1986 and worked in general and periodontal practices before joining our team in 1998. She lives in Sutton with her husband and sons.

Audrey – Business Office Manager

Audrey has worked in the dental field for over 20 years. She joined Dr. Scanlon’s team in 1997. Prior to working in this office she worked in a Pediatric Dental office as the Office Manager. She enjoys spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Cindy – Business Office Assistant

Cindy joined Dr. Scanlon’s team in 1999. She attended Becker College and received her Associates Degree in Business. Her prior experiences were in retail management and a research lab. After becoming a stay-at-home-mom, she returned to the workforce to join our business team. She enjoys line dancing and spending time with her husband and children. “I enjoy working in this office because they are not only my co-workers; they are also my friends.”

Laurie – Dental Hygienist

Laurie is a Registered Dental Hygienist and has been with Dr. Scanlon and her team since September 1997. She graduated from Quinsigamond Community College in Worcester in 1984 with an Associated Degree in Science, Dental Hygiene. She practiced in Connecticut for 11 years before moving back to Uxbridge in 1995. She enjoys time with her family, being outdoors and attending many basketball games.

Tracey – Dental Assistant

Tracey joined our team in June 2007. She completed dental assisting training at New England Assistant School in Worcester, and received x-ray certification at Tufts University in Boston. Before working with Dr. Scanlon, Tracey was a stay-at-home mom. She loves spending time with her son and attending his ballgames.

Jennifer – Certified Dental Assistant

Jen joined our team in February of 2010. She interned at our office and completed the Dental Assistant program at Quinsigamond Community College in 2009. Jen is continuing her education and aspires to start the dental hygiene program in the near future.  Jen gives back to the community through her work with the elderly.  She enjoys hiking, and spending time with her family. “I am lucky to be apart of such a great team of caring professionals!”
